today was an utterly waste of time. going to school that is. let me repeat to make sure that everyone got the message loud and clear. innova jc is the only school in the entire nation to have a full day, instead of the average half-day thing that ALL the other schools got. this is what i would call daylight robbery of our rights as students. no fair. it's not our fault that the OAC was held last week and thus resulting in major loss of curriculum time. sheesh man.

the celebrations were more sombre than patriotic. we sang the usual songs and had a bit of fun when the arts classes with a couple of sporting science people chanting "half day, half day!! *clap clap* half day, half day!! *clap clap*"
