constantine maroulis, ta ta.

oh no! now constantine's gone. what am i gonna do? there's simply no reason left to watch american idol. sigh. what i still don't understand is scott & anthony's prolonged stay which is totally stupendous. sheesh.

today has been an ultra long day. economics lecture ended at 6.30 which is totally ridiculous by the fact that the air-con wasn't switched on during the entire 1hr 45 min lecture. sheesh. how in the name of my ventolin inhaler was i supposed to concentrate in suffocating conditions? you know it, i know it. it's utterly preposterous.

choir yesterday was fun. at least better than i had expected. i made some new friends with whom i had to come up with a performance of 2 songs. it's so funny because we couldn't stop cracking each other up practically the whole time. then, we had a 1-on-1 "audition" to see what our voice section is. i sang more than words which i know i totally messed up in front of everyone. my "audition" was witnessed by all as i was one of the last to go. all the other girls are in soprano. i'm the only one in alto. sheesh.

tomorrow's cross-country at macritchie reservoir. i'm in crowd control simply because i can't run. i mean, why bring shame to my house man? well, the other reason is because i hyperventilate way too easily. i'm really looking forward to a win for my house, aquilla, since now we're currently last in the standings. so the very the embarassing.

ferrero vs nadal

alright, man! my favourite player (rafael nadal) against my previous favourite (juan carlos ferrero). this is going to be super exciting. i can hardly wait. two spaniards in barcelona open. isn't that cool or what?! i'm predicting a nadal win but i wouldn't mind a ferrero victory either. it's going to be tough to watch. which is exactly why i won't be. the match won't be shown in singapore but even if it was, it will be on around 3 or 4 in the morning. no way am i going to stay up in the wee morning to drool over the 2 spanish men. as i much as i love them, i need my precious 7 hours in order for me to function properly the next day. besides, it's a school night, dude. tsk.

Izan Nazhan.

oh yes. ezra's kid brother's name is izan nazhan. a very unique moniker indeed. so, the three boys are:

  1. Amir Ashraf Bin Khaild
  2. Ezra Eilhan Bin Khalid
  3. Izan Nazhan Bin Khalid

so the very the mouthful, man.

boo!!

aww. anwar's eliminated from american idol. it's very disheartening. he's such a great singer and fares much better than anthony and scott. i really don't understand how america votes. sheesh. but thankfully constantine and vonzell's still in the competition. they're like totally my favourites. i still can't forget anwar's show-stopping rendition of louis armstrong's what a wonderful world. he looked great, he sounded better. just look at that. i mean, doesn't he look sophisticated? sigh.

i have to do my homework but the thing is, i don't even know where to start. there's just too much stuff to do.

over this ONE weekend, i have to complete:

  1. re-do GP problem based learning template by mon 25/4
  2. GP research on crime by mon 25/4

hey, how about another photo huh? now that i've finally mastered the art of posting a picture on my posts, i believe that photobucket.com is a gift from god. even a computer dummy like me could actually use it correctly. 3 cheers for photobucket!!

anyways, it doesn't hurt to have too many rafael nadals all over my blog. well, here's him holding the trophy or cup (which ever you prefer) after emerging the victor of the tournament. isn't that just adorable or what?!

whee!!!!!

yay!! rafael nadal won the monte carlo masters series!! man, he's practically on fire now. and boy, he's too hot to handle!! and look at those bulging muscles!! ain't that just awesome for an 18-year-old?! i mean, at the rate that singapore guys are at now, most won't even achieve this heavenly body structure when they're 30. sigh. he has this bloody damn good-looking face that's practically flawless!! sigh.

mr nadal, i'm so totally into you. will you please make me your missus?

new baby in town.

yay! we have a new addition to the family. a little baby boy! he was born yesterday by the way. i can't imagine ezra having a kid brother. even i don't have a younger sibling. sheesh. no name yet. but i'lll bet he'll have 2 names. i mean, he has to follow suit after his elder brothers were named amir ashraf and ezra eilhan.

went for choir meeting today. the instructor's super nice and very very articulate. what do you expect from someone who graduated from nus with a degree in english literature? i think his name was lester tay or something. can't quite remember. we were like supposed to compose an 8-count melody using only do re mi. but even then i sucked. sheesh.

watched american idol and boy, were they great or what? i especially love my favourites anwar and constantine. the latter was like superly astonishingly superb with his rendition of queen's bohemian rhapsody. i mean, it sounded almost like the original version. i wanted to hug and kissed him but all i could afford to do was sit and stare at the tv set.

i have tons and tons of literature homework. but i can't get it done cause i have to photocopy the sheets 1st. so the very the troublesome. sheesh. nasty literature teachers
.

official CG now 05A23

my class' name has officially changed. instead of the old 1A03, i'm now in 05A23 with mostly the same people. however, we had juliet and alvin transfered to different classes and a new guy in our class. don't know his name though. and the arts students are now known as the humanities students. i'm not sure why. i've got a change of PE and econs tutors. whee!! cool.

today was quite fun actually. i sat with hama & co before econs remedial and boy, they sure can't stop cracking each other up. with the name callings and the moment of panic when shradha thought she lost her wallet (which was right under the table), i sure had a laugh.

went to the survivor's official website to see the sad news. bobby jon was eliminated (boo-hoo!) out of the 2-member ulong tribe, leaving stephenie the last member of the tribe. so sad man. my eyecandy's gone. but nevertheless, i'll still continue watching it. it's just too good.

money, money, money.

money is indeed used a lot these days. 8 bucks here, 9.50 there. it may seem a little but when the total's accumulated, it's quite a sum. history's got like piles and piles of notes which don't come free. i think i'll spend more money on them than time reading them.

economics isn't so bad after all. the female malay tutor who took us is i believe the best among the lot. she painstakingly made the effort to go through every single detail in the topic. this is very much unlike you-know-who who barges into class bombarding questions to her innocent students like an army general discharging his firing squad to his helpless opponents. it's that bad i tell ya. you would have to practically sit at the edge of your seat and pray hard that somehow she misses you and ends up asking someone else instead. well, at least that's how i feel.

yesterday's amazing race episode saw brothers brian & greg eliminated in botswana, africa. it was especially sad since brian was freaking cute. what was hilarious was when alex & lynn had 4-5 layers of clothings on them for fear that they might be in last place and not eliminated. (the penalty for such cases is that the contestants would be completely stripped of everything including money but except for their passports and the clothes that they're wearing.)
brian & greg's amusing outfit was certainly an eye-opener. the boys had only their swimming shorts and these wacky headgear and goofy sunglasses. i wish i could display the picture here but i don't know to. i'm just not very knowledgeable on the html stuff.

sunday's my tennis trials at YCK. i hope that by some miracle of some sort i'll get selected into the team. i don't exactly know why they should have me but i certainly would love to learn to play competitive tennis. as desperate as it may sound, i assure you that it's not.
