there will be the econs seminar thingie at nus tomorrow. so after that, a group of us plan to head to little india for some savoury indian food. yum yum. i'm hungry already. clementi to little india? i'll bear with that.

watching singapore idol was pretty excruciating. song choices left me puzzled. other than hady, the others were least impressive. i was switching between idol and rockstar supernova and there was a DISTINCT difference in the standards of singing.

faez, shues and i had planned to watch the newest hindi movie at the super ulu shaw towers cinema. but since the tickets were sold out (astonishingly!), we settled for tokyo drift instead. and it was fabulous.

my mom bought me a dress today. nadia in a dress? picture that. it has to be almost a decade since i last had a dress in my wadrobe. hohoho. it hit me that i am a girl after all.

the SG IDOL trailer for next week's rock-themed spectaculars is fuck. it had lines like 'she who's suited most to sing it will not', 'there'd be no faces shown in this trailer because it's time to LISTEN' and 'this IS a singing competition'. they were somewhere along those lines, i couldn't quite remember every word. still, ch 5 can't get any more sarcastic than this. and i love it.

i have a history test tomorrow and i have yet to open my books. nadia rocks, oh yeah.

my parents made the tastiest lunch yet. the much-longed escargot and tandoori chicken. and now i'm a bloated ass.

the mother wants me to follow her to the philippines during the one week holiday to visit some relatives. as much as i would love to, prelims is immediately after school reopens. so let's just wait and see.

singapore idol on wednesday with bern was great. people said we appeared bored on live tv a couple of times. if you missed us, remember to catch the repeat tomorrow at 7.15pm on channel 5. we both wore light green tops. catch me on tv people. oh and i grabbed HADY so hard i wanted to pull him down the stage. i love the boy, he's hot. idiotic voters. how could in the world did mathilda, jay, jonathan and HADY end up in the bottom group?! stupid teenage girls and boys. i've learnt my lesson.

school is draining every ounce of energy i have. so it's pretty excusable if you see me losing it, acting really erratic. like slapping myself for instance. and vigorously chewing my fingers. that's just nadia. or maybe that's naida.

oh i just found out that nicholas cage is the nephew of francis ford coppola (the man behind The Godfather trilogy), making him sofia's cousin. and indie band rooney's lead singer robert carmine is another cousin, member of the coppola elites. like what a freaking high profile family. wowee.

my second sister gave birth to a baby boy today. her 4th child, also her 3rd son. the boy's named Miqdad Elyas. don't ask me why the odd moniker. dad (pronounced 'dart') is my 7th nephew and my parents' 10th grandchild. with that, the number of my immediate family members in the abdul samad clan currently stands at 21 people including yours truly. come october, my 2nd sister-in-law will be giving birth to her 1st child. drawing my family tree will be such a chore.

parent-teacher meeting was kinda nice. both my parents and the teachers were lavishing me with praises. even though they were so out of context, i enjoyed it. apparently, i'm hardworking, have a good grasp of language and well-liked by my classmates. ok ok enough already. but i also have a low confidence level and write far too little in all my essays. that takes time my friend.

yay bern & i will be watching singapore idol spectaculars at caldecott tomorrow. i don't know how i'll survive without a camera but heck that. imagine seeing joakim's pretty face and listening to hady's voice live. it'll be a blast. much thanks to wid. yay ((:

oh i have a really tight schedule this week. what with consultations, sg idol (teehee) and friday date with geraldine. i don't mind it one bit. at least i'm happier now.
