my first brother is in mozambique for a meeting concerning media of some sort. my second brother has been accepted to be an SIA pilot. he'll be leaving for australia next year for training.

manila was great. shopping was crazy. the malls are more than twice the size of suntec city. oddly enough, i gained weight from snacking way too much as halal eateries were hard to come by.

lukas rossi won rockstar supernova. as much as i had predicted his win, i still feel toby or magni deserved more. they are far more talented. period. and guess what? the band will be called rockstar supernova cause they lost a lawsuit against the original band with the same name.

hady and jonathan in the final 2 of sg idol. finally. i'm voting for hady. GO HADY! oh and 8 days said that'll be no more sg idol after this season due to the lack of REAL talents. what the heck.

channel 5 won't be showing the new season of survivor, mainly due to the racial division of the tribes. that's bloody stupid since that's what makes good tv. and why in the world are the asians so oriental? aren't middle eastern and indian descendents asians too? america is so stereotypical. at least the amazing race 10 will feature a muslim pair and an indian couple.

i missed the last episode of life isn't all ha ha hee hee last sunday. damn it. that show is bloody nice. the doctor is just so hot.

what's becoming to the killers? at the mtv video music awards, they look like that band in kate hudson's movie almost famous. like whatever happened to the cute brandon flowers? he looks like someone from an 80's cop show. he has this freaking stupid pornish moustache now. eurgh.

suri holmes-cruise is the cutest baby i've ever seen. with that thick mop of black hair and porcelain skin, she's such a pretty baby. nevermind the dysfunctional dad, suri is a celebrity baby at its best.

literature paper 5 is my last paper on monday. even though this is already the prelims, i haven't exactly thoroughly prepare for any of my 8 papers. so expect disastrous results, i will.

oh yay arctic monkeys won the 2006 mercury music prize. hurrah! all hail the monkeys!

tyson ritter is hot. johnny knoxville is krrazy. michael vartan is smothering. josh duhamel is something-something. watching too much tv has caused me to fantasise over these boys.

today's been a hectic day. my 2nd sister, yat, came over with her 4 kids. she had 1 month old miqdad in the baby seat in front, 1 year old ikrimah in a child seat with 6 year old mikail and 5 year old elyana behind. i swear my sis is a supermom. after lunch, she drove my mom and i along with her kids to my eldest sister's house. my eldest sister, noni, had a slipped hip disc. after that, my mom and i then went to parkway parade while yat and her kids headed home. after shopping, i went to meet venisar at marine parade library. we didn't do much studying cause we were busy eating and yakking. like how suprising.

the devil wears prada was pretty nice. watched it yesterday with kk, shar and aini at lido. it was pretty odd seeing kk with braces. i haven't got quite used to it. and aini. i haven't seen her for the past two years or so and she's so skinny now. it must be the a levels.

joakim's finally out of idol. god bless singaporeans. now i just have to wait for jonathan and hady in the finals. ryan star was suprisingly out of rockstar. he's amazingly talented. but his elimination was just a matter of time. like shar said, there's no way someone of his calibre should front an ageing rock band with tommy lee in it. magni and toby are my favourites left in the competition. used to be on team dilana but the events of recent weeks made me rethink my choices. oh and i hate the way lukas sings. his voice coupled with the body movements, he's almost dislocating all the bones of his tiny self.

panic! at the disco won the mtv video award for video of the year, beating the likes of madonna and red hot chili peppers. how bloody exciting.
