money is indeed used a lot these days. 8 bucks here, 9.50 there. it may seem a little but when the total's accumulated, it's quite a sum. history's got like piles and piles of notes which don't come free. i think i'll spend more money on them than time reading them.
economics isn't so bad after all. the female malay tutor who took us is i believe the best among the lot. she painstakingly made the effort to go through every single detail in the topic. this is very much unlike you-know-who who barges into class bombarding questions to her innocent students like an army general discharging his firing squad to his helpless opponents. it's that bad i tell ya. you would have to practically sit at the edge of your seat and pray hard that somehow she misses you and ends up asking someone else instead. well, at least that's how i feel.
yesterday's amazing race episode saw brothers brian & greg eliminated in botswana, africa. it was especially sad since brian was freaking cute. what was hilarious was when alex & lynn had 4-5 layers of clothings on them for fear that they might be in last place and not eliminated. (the penalty for such cases is that the contestants would be completely stripped of everything including money but except for their passports and the clothes that they're wearing.) brian & greg's amusing outfit was certainly an eye-opener. the boys had only their swimming shorts and these wacky headgear and goofy sunglasses. i wish i could display the picture here but i don't know to. i'm just not very knowledgeable on the html stuff.
sunday's my tennis trials at YCK. i hope that by some miracle of some sort i'll get selected into the team. i don't exactly know why they should have me but i certainly would love to learn to play competitive tennis. as desperate as it may sound, i assure you that it's not.
